On a camel once again

How I ever convinced Mitch to get on a camel after Tunisia is anyone’s guess.  But after watching Bob race his “steed” through the desert, I had to agree this would be the last.  Enjoy the ride as we venture across the desert and find a few snake holes along the way.

Shopping

If there is anything we can feel good about on this trip, it’s that we helped the Indian economy. Be it by providing 10 rupees for the bathroom to tearing apart a textile shop, we spent some coin.

Monkeys!

Shannon loves her monkeys!  When she saw them on the last day she couldn’t help but get up close - but not too close...

Song and Dance

After our desert ride, we had our meal around the fire with music and entertainment.  The most amazing thing was that the children dancing were all between 7 - 12.

Dancing - The young MJ

This little kid might have been small but he packed a punch, and had a twinkle in his eye for the ladies, certainly swept Regina off her feet.  By the end of the evening we were convinced he was the next India star.

Crazy White People Trying to Dance

There can’t be anything worse for these people then to watch us dance and absolutely butcher the beautiful things that they do.  But they always pull us up and we always give it a whirl - some much better than others, but we laughed as we danced every time.

When Shannon remembered half way through the trip that her camera had a video-recorder it just meant trouble...these are a few of the choice moments she’s chosen to share.
