Sometimes Shannon thinks she asks for so few things in life, so when she hoped for just a few days of warmth in the Canary Islands, she couldn’t believe her luck when she had sun every day! She came home relaxed and with a tan, but then who wouldn’t when you could just lie in the sun all day and have a faithful servant taking care of your every need - that Mitch is really a good guy.
We also learned that Lanzarote had more than beaches and sun, the artist César Manrique is from here and his sculptures, windmills and architecture dots the island and turns this retreat into more than just a haven to relax, but a place to explore as well.
